Full-Scope Controls Projects and Maintenance
Service Logic has six control companies totaling greater than $40 million in revenue. Together these groups provide controls engineering, support, and installation services for all major controls brands. Our organization consists of six business leaders each with teams of project managers, project engineers, applications engineers, and field technicians. Sharing best practices helps us build consistency across groups. We utilize a 5-step plan for all projects and assign a ‘single point of contact’ to each customer. In general, the steps include pre-bid, planning, installation, commissioning, and close out. Many of the details for each task really depend on project complexity and our project manager would participate in each step from beginning to end. In doing so, we ensure successful delivery of tasks for both ourselves and our customers.

Controls Projects and Retrofits
Project delivery is often provided the greatest focus and we controls providers can neglect to place enough focus on system support after turnover. Considering controls systems are more complicated than ever, it would be naïve to place all system responsibility on our customers after a brief onsite training. To help our customers through on boarding their new system, we offer free remote technical support and assist with defining rules for secure remote access with your IT groups. In addition, we team with Building Automation Monthly to provide formal online controls training at your own pace. Finally, our goal is to use products available through distributor channels, with access to multiple service vendors.
CMS Controls provides a full suite of controls services, including building automation, system integration, lighting controls, energy efficiency analysis, etc. We have in-house capability to design and install the largest multi-million dollar installations but also perform many smaller projects for clients to simply update or upgrade their facilities. We offer customized solutions that will benefit your budget and operating performance. Often at no up-front commitment, we can assess and propose improvements that will pay for themselves. We will combine any of our products and services to meet the needs that serve your organization best.
Service Agreements
We offer both full service and preventative maintenance contract options for our clients. Our preventative maintenance option is customized for your facility and includes regular visits where factory-trained technicians verify your system is working at its full potential. Similarly, our full service option includes all preventative maintenance tasks and also includes emergency service labor and service parts allowing our customers to operate within a set annual budget.
Our service department is designed as an extension of the clients’ business operations. These regular service agreements provide an often un-recognized benefit to the bottom line just by making buildings more comfortable, efficient and safe for building inhabitants. You may be unaware of the amount of energy and money that can be wasted if your HVAC or lighting system is not working correctly or the amount of risk you bear if your system is not working correctly. Continuous maintenance and monitoring can pay for itself when it is done intelligently. We will listen to your needs and fit you with the services that suit your business and facility.
